Most miter saws come with a standard 40 tooth ATB blade (maybe a 60 tooth on 12" saws) that's good for cutting stock like 2x4's. But that's probably not what you bought your saw for. If you plan to do finish work, like moldings or picture frames, you need a better blade!

You've found them. These miter and double miter saw blades are made especially for smooth, clean finish cuts in wood and wood products. And the ones with a CTC (California Triple Chip) tip design are also good for cutting light aluminum extrusions, making them the ideal miter saw blade for picture frame shops.

Users of double miter machines like Pistorius may find they need 12" or 14" blades with a 5/8" arbor, and most saw blade manufacturers don't make them. Popular Tool does. Likewise, users of metric European miter saws, such as Brevetti Prisma saws. If you have a 12" DeWalt that takes a 5/8" arbor blade, we've got you covered, too. Just look in the table here and you'll probably find a blade to fit your machine.

And keep in mind, the strict manufacturing process used by Popular Tool guarantees a runout of .002" or less, for smooth, clean cuts.

As with any saw blades, choose lower tooth counts for thicker stock, higher counts for thinner material.
