With its 40 tooth, 0º rake outside cutters, and
aggressive inside chippers, the Gold Medal dado will give you clean,
crisp, chip-free groove edges and amazingly flat bottoms in solid
wood, fine veneers - even Melamine. True to the Gold Medal
name, this set is made for quiet, efficient and precise cuts. The
plates are heat-treated and hand hammer-tensioned. The carbide tips
are finely honed on ALL sides for the cleanest cuts.
The set consists of:
Two outside cutters with teeth top-beveled in one direction only
(right on one, left on the other) and a flat-top raker every 5th
tooth
Two 1/8" flat-top, 2-tooth chippers
One 1/4" flat-top, 2 tooth chipper
One 1/16" flat-top, 2 tooth chipper
All packaged in a fine, hinged wood storage box to protect your
investment. And it IS an investment! |
