TENRYU's Silencer
Series Wood Cutting Blades offer ultra-smooth cuts with their
ATAF shear face grind carbide tips. And they give you ultra-quiet
cuts with their patented resin bond filled laser body cut
slots.
The alternating face bevel on these blades planes both sides of the
cut as you go, leaving an amazingly smooth surface and eliminating
tear-out. And like all TENRYU blades, Silencer Series blades are
hand tensioned and exceptionally flat, for truer cuts. Perfect for
miter and sliding miter saws.

Now TENRYU has added new models in the Silencer Series: Two 10"
Planer Combination table saw blades with ATBR teeth (4 ATB teeth followed
by a flat-top raker to clean out the cut) that are great for ripping,
cross cutting and working with plywood. The model designated with "TC"
on the end is a thinner kerf.
In addition, these two blades
and any Silencer with a model number ending with a letter "C"
are coated with a black Teflon called PTFE. The coating helps reduce
friction and pitch build-up and makes it a lot easier to keep the blade
clean.
