My favorite testimonials are a simple "thank you". They mean the most to me and I hope to you, too. Sometimes the person thanking me doesn't even order anything from me but it means I helped someone in some way.


I sent this email to two customers who had ordered something that was temporarily out of stock:

The Tenryu blade you've been waiting for shipped Thursday, 10/29, from Hebron, KY.

I have to admit, I wasn't aware of this policy, since it's never come up before in the year and a half I've been selling Tenryu saw blades. But here it is: When an item is backordered, Tenryu America pays for the ground shipping when it does ship. For your order, they didn't charge me so I'm not going to charge you.

If you have your invoice, cross off the last two numbers for shipping and Grand Total and the last number standing is what your card will be charged. If you need to me to send you a new, corrected invoice, let me know.

I discovered that UPS Ground was only two days in transit to this customer's location and he had ordered 3 Day select. I took the time to change it and adjust the charge accordingly:

Ground shipping is only 2 days in transit so I switched from 3 Day Select. About half the cost. I'll send a corrected invoice.
